ip-label extends its global measurement network in Europe and worldwide

Continuing its expansion, ip-label is pleased to announce the opening of 4 new points of presence to measure the Internet performance.  Its global network today offers 49 points of presence – POPs

  • France: 23 POPs (Orange, Verizon, Colt, Neuf Cegetel, Telecom Italia in Paris and 18 points outside Paris) : ip-label remains the widest measurement network in France.
  • Belgium  3 POPs (Belgacom, Colt, Telenet) covering the largest area in Belgium
  • Netherlands: 2 POPs (KPN and Versatel )
  • Sweden : 1 POP
  • Great-Britain : 1 POP
  • Switzerland : 1 POP
  • Italy: 1 POP
  • Spain : 3 POPs (one BT point, a new point in Telefonica in Madrid and an existing point in Telefonica in Barcelona) : ip-label offers the largest Internet network in Spain
  • Portugal: 1 POP
  •  Poland :1 new POP in Varsaw
  • Germany : 1 existing POP today.  With the opening of new offices in Frankfurt in September 2007, 4 new points will be activated by the end of the year

Today with 38 points of presence and 44 to come, ip-label offers the largest European Internet measurement network.
